B2B Software Sales Representative

Canmap Systems is a software solutions company providing mapping and asset management systems for the utility industry in the US and Canada. We have been in business for 15 years and are currently investing in future growth.
We are growing and currently seek a sales professional to join our team and help build new markets in selected US states and Canadian regions.
*This is a high profile position that will be key to our growth strategy.
We are expanding our workforce, looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team as a B2B sales rep. Your role will be as a hunter, working from a list of target companies in our CRM, developing strategies, and reaching out to decision makers to educate and qualify.

- you have excellent oral and written communication skills
- generate new business by making contact and establishing relationships through email and cold calls
- deliver online presentations via webinars
- proactively reach out to assigned accounts and maintain regular contact to assess current and future needs
- keep accurate and up-to-date records of lead / account interactions and transactions
Skills / Abilities
- experience working in a B2B sales environment
- proven track record in delivering target-based results
- experience working with Salesforce
- knowledge of and ability to interact professionally on social media platforms such as LinkedIn
- involvement in the development of sales strategies
- an associate certificate or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sales or related field
- professional presentation and interpersonal skills
- ability to receive constructive feedback and assessments based on performance
